juliArt Achieves 1.5°C Temperature Control Certification

Our summers are getting hotter. What used to be a scorching 30°C day is now becoming commonplace. Climate change is here, and it’s time to take action.

CommonWealth Magazine created a brilliant tool to help us fight back: The “TRIPs (Temperature Rising Index for Pathways).” This platform holds companies accountable for their climate goals. It translates their commitments into clear measurements – how much their actions will raise global temperatures. The goal is to keep warming below a critical limit: 1.5°C.

Why is achieving a 1.5℃ temperature increase limit so important?

Limiting global warming to 1.5°C is crucial to reduce severe climate change impacts. The 2015 Paris Agreement targets keeping warming well below 2°C, aiming for 1.5°C. Exceeding these limits could intensify heatwaves, droughts, floods, hurricanes, and other extreme weather, threatening human communities, biodiversity, and ecosystems worldwide.
